The Supersonic Tunnel operates in the range of 1.5<M<3.4. The test section has a length of 58cm and cross-section of 40cmx50cm. The air is supplied from 48 balloons containing 7 ton of compressed air at 200 atm.

he stagnation pressure varies between 35 psia to 170 psia (250kPa-1200kPa) depending on the required Mach number. A typical experiment in which the angle of attack is varied by 20 degrees lasts for about 20 seconds.
